Better still this is a satisfying period of time for hikers and active travellers to experience the inland regions and discover the contiguous sights of this beautiful expanse of Spain.








With locality of the island of Fuerteventura; Corralejo is ideal for bother a summer or winter vacation. The area of Corralejo enjoys an implausible climate, with endless days of warm, dry sunny weather. Similar to the remainder of the Canary Islands; Corralejo takes pleasure in spring-like climates throughout the entire year – never becoming too hot and oppressive. Average temperatures throughout the region will linger around a pleasant 21ºC annually and will never dip below 13ºC.  








Being in very close proximity to Morocco, some could say Corralejo features a climate similar to that of Africa. Ensuring endless amounts of sunshine, boasting an average of approximately 320 days per year, and an almost dry arid heat; Corralejo is indeed comparable to a characteristic African climate. Alike all locations on the Canary Islands, Corralejo features common trade winds that help sooth the blistering temperatures.  








The sparse rainfall that is obtained throughout the region of Corralejo generally occurs in the months of October through until March.Precipitation during this time is however, very brisk and tends to come in short, brief bursts. With locality at the northern point of the island, Corralejo features a little more than that in the south. This results in a fair amount a greenery and plant life, whereas the areas in the southern area of Fuerteventura is almost desert like and very barren. 








Summer temperatures throughout July, August and even September remain very high. Average climates linger around 28ºC and rarely drop below 24ºC. Given that rainfall is in fact non-existent throughout the months of June to August, the relative humidity is also very low. Low humidity, combined with the everlasting trade winds, creates a very pleasant climate throughout the duration of the summertime.








If you’re someone that prefers to beat the crowds, winter is nevertheless an ideal time to vacation. Even though this is the wettest period of the year, rain is still very minimal, with maximum precipitation levels at 24mm per month. Climates will rarely drop below 15ºC and the warm coastal winds that blow over the town from the African region ensure a mild temperature over the whole duration of winter.
