Holiday Reviews for Corfu Town
"rhoda"
Weather : the weather was beautiful with light breezes in the mountains or the high pints on the island the sun as anywhere can be fierce so cover up and the evenings are uncomfortable in high season but not unreasonably so
Holiday : the holiday was great the food was great and yes we had a great time the people are very friendly and it is nice to see the way they look after the more mature citizens of the family. The whole of the island is beautiful though Paleocastritza is hilly and not for disabled persons who will find it difficult to get around. It is as well to remember that there are very few roads and pavements are nonexistent here and the toilet paper has to go in the bin not down the loo but your holiday will more than compensate in other ways for these minor differences. Have a great time we have been back 3 times
Places Recommended : The highest place on the island which has a restaurant and you can view the whole of the island from there and the monastery in paleocastritza (take some cigarettes for the priest) if you want action then Cavos and Benitses is for you, or if you want the quiet life then there are numerous coves and beaches hire a car you can visit the whole of the island in 2 days

"my experience in corfu town"
Weather : the weather varied quite a lot from end september to end of season, but other than that the weather could get hot, really hot. in july the weather reached around 50-51 degrees. no joke.but other than that, it mainly stayed 30-45 degrees, which was hot and humid, but fantastic to get a tan!
Holiday : i worked in corfu, and my experience was that fantastic i didnt want to come home! plenty for everyone to do, kids to elderly, trips available for everyone, and great shopping centres and sight seeing too.
Places Recommended : i recommend corfu town for shopping and sight seeing, kassopi and paliokastritsa(sorry for spelling) for great view.. kassopi is the fishing village.
kids, teenagers, mums dads, i recommend aqua land!its the 2nd largest waterpark in europe and has the 2nd largests slides and rides in europe!
if you like walking go to albania.. not recommended for people who struggle to walk long distances.
roda is a fairly quiet resort but has lots to offer.
sidari is more livelier, especially for young ones, but things for everyone.
and for anyone aged 18- 30 or likes a good party. kavos is the place to be!
