Weather : Very hot, blue skies everyday. It reached 28 degrees one day. Very lovely! It wasn't humid and I only remember it showering for a few minutes one day. We got great tans and ate out by the river most evenings

Holiday : The house was stunning and located on the banks of the river Charente which meant the views were really amazing and the fishing, according to my husband, was great. The house was spacious and really well equipped and the beds very comfy. We loved it and will definately return. www.thefrenchescape.com

Places Recommended : Futurescope was fun, the Cognac houses were well worth a visit and we loved the boat hire from Jarnac, lots of fun.
