There are so many fun, inexpensive attractions in Benidorm, Spain, that it can be hard for visitors to choose. One popular thing to do is a horse riding tour of the Costa Blanca area which is just inland of Benidorm. The experience is much more fulfilling and unique than a walking tour or group bus tour, and it provides one-of-a-kind scenery.
Another popular activity is paragliding. Along with a trained professional, you will sail above the beautiful scenery, getting a bird’s eye view.
Those who plan on visiting Benidorm during April should be aware of the date of Easter. The town basically shuts down for Holy Week, hosting processions and religious services on various days. It is a beautiful time to see part of the area’s rich culture.
Hotel Riudor in Benidorm is a great option for those wanting a full-board option. The price of the package is a great bargain since the staff will even pack a lunch for guests who will be out and about all day long.
It is very close to the busy and exciting nightlife of the city such as the quirky Western Saloon which has a combination of folk, Irish, western and rock music.
Morgan’s Bar, with its very popular cabaret act, is also nearby.
The pool is smaller than some, but the terrace area has a great atmosphere, especially during the summer months. For those who would rather sit in the sand, the beach is only a block away.
Another great value is the Magic Villa Benidorm, which is a great accommodation option in itself. The really wonderful thing, though, is that it is part of the “Magic” hotel group. The management provides free shuttle service from one of their resorts to another, allowing hotel guests to dine and drink in any of the hotels. Recently, the bars have begun to stay open twenty-four hours a day.
