June sees temperatures soar as the summer season gets into full swing.
Daytime temperatures now reach a very warm high of 27°C (81°F) and only fall to 17°C (63°F) in the evenings.
With 13 hours of sunshine every day, you will definitely be spending a lot of time at one of the many beaches of the Benalmadena Costa.
There are also plenty of water sports available in the area including water skiing, jet skiing and wind surfing.
Away from the beach you can explore the beautiful old parts of the area, including the Torre Quebrada watchtower and Colomares Castle.
Take care, of course, to wear sunscreen with a high SPF and seek shelter from the sun during particularly hot parts of the day.
There is a wide range of all inclusive accommodation available for a week during the summer months, though it can fill up quite quickly.

The Best Benalmadena has rooms from around £385 and, being only 150m from the beach, it is very popular with families. Within the resort there is a kid’s club and children’s pool as well. Meals are buffet-style with water and table wine, while unlimited snacks are available 10am to 11pm.
Leisure facilities include outdoor and indoor Jacuzzis, a gym, sauna and Turkish bath.
