All rooms have seaside view and are very well maintained. The hotel is fairly close to the marina and the popular local casino.

Palia La Roca Hotel-Club is an attractive hotel that offers great value for money to tourists who wish to stay on Playa Santa Ana beach without overspending. The hotel is decent across the board and is popular with savvy tourists on a budget who often book well in advance to get a room at the Palia La Roca during high season.

Low-key and budget priced, El Greco is a 3 star family friendly hotel located in Benalmadena's outskirts. The hotel is a hit with young tourists thanks to its large grassy patio and child friendly pool.

Luxurious and elegant self catering accommodation is as good as it gets here at the Nexus Benalmadena Suites & Apartments. The resort offers individual apartments with direct access to the beach and impressive views over the Mediterranean Sea. This is not the cheapest self catering hotel but it certainly is one of the best in the area.

One of the most popular blue flag beaches on Costa del Sol, the Carvajal  is the quintessential golden sand Mediterranean beach, with azure waters and lots of fun things to do. This beach features at numerous posters about Benalmadena and is considered one of the most beautiful in the area. It's spotlessly clean, with azure waters and several tourist facilities at very close proximity.

Located under a cliff and having a unique calmness and visibility, the Viborillas Beach is an incredible place to practice scuba diving and snorkelling in Benalmadena. The beach's unique conditions make it very popular with divers across the Mediterranean. This is a particularly newbie-friendly beach, ideal for scuba diving beginners.

Popular for its beach bars and sand sports activities, the la Morena is a relatively dark sand beach that is located within Benalmadena's urban area. The beach is literally surrounded by lots of different local bars including some very popular ones that hold parties as soon as the sun goes down.

Benedicts is a unique restaurant serving British, Irish and Hungarian cuisine in a melange of dishes and flavours you won't find anywhere else. The food here is a perfect fusion of these cuisines, with dishes smashing the traditional culinary boundaries to present visitors with new and exciting takes on timelessly classic traditional dishes.

As its name implies, the Rodeo Steak House is a larger-than-life BBQ and steak house restaurant that serves huge portions of fresh Spanish meat and lots of spicy sauces to go with it. The food here is plentiful and the meat is always thoroughly cooked, so if you want your steak medium-rare do not forget to specifically ask for it!

A popular fish restaurant, La Gran Ola is a traditional Spanish restaurant known for its fish BBQ and large menu, which offers almost every Spanish dish imaginable. The food here is unpretentiously delicious, with no frills, and served at fairly low prices. This is a very busy restaurant that is almost always full throughout high season, so book ahead.

Restaurante Alborada is a cosy and welcoming eatery located in the heart of Benalmadena. The Alborada is known for its large portions of traditional Spanish food and has become so widely famous that it is one of the few restaurants in the area to sport TriPAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence.

Erase Una Vez is a stylish wine/cocktail bar located on the busy plaza de Ole in central Benalmadena. The bar has an extensive selection of local and imported wines, which it accompanies with tasty snacks. The wine list here is impressive and includes rare bottles not found anywhere else in Benalmadena. Hence, it's no surprise the Erase Una Vez attracts numerous discerning wine lovers from across Costa del Sol.

Located at La Viborilla beach, the Malibu beach bar is a very popular beach bar that plays host to parties that attract a vibrant, mixed crowd. The drinks are well-priced; fuelling plenty of late night shindigs. During the day, the bar is much more laid back, catering to a chilled out bunch and families with children.

L'Experience  is a popular outdoor cocktail and snack bar on Benalmadena's beach. Things to do in Benalmadena in July

Amazingly popular with children and adults alike, Selwo Marina Delfinarium is the best theme park to enjoy seeing dolphins, seals and other aquatic mammals while visiting Benalmadena it's well priced, too. There are numerous shows where trained animals perform all kinds of tricks, so don't forget your camera.

Popular with surfers and windsurfers from across the northern Mediterranean, Surftown is a company that organises numerous surfing and windsurfing trips across Costa del Sol. The company's headquarters are located at the centre of Benalmadena but they also operate offices on several breaches across the coast.

The Bouncing Betty Speedboat is a long rubber boat that can transport around 20 tourists across Costa del Sol and into some of the remotest and most beautiful bays near Benalmadena. The boat trips are fast and thrill-filled, perfect for action-seekers and tourists who feel the need for speed.

The old village of Benalmadena, also known as Benalmadena Pueblo, is a scenic historic landmark located in the northern section of the city. The old part of the city is full of historic buildings and is fantastically preserved, with cobblestone streets and quiet, narrow alleys.  The old town square is planted with aged trees and an old fountain that is still fully operational. The old town of Benalmadena makes the perfect backdrop for romantic evening walks.

Benalmadena Summer Festival of Music, Theatre & Dance takes place this month. This popular event is held in the Auditorium of the Parque de La Paloma in Arroyo de la Miel.
