Weather : Best time of year for sun is August when it is around 20 degrees C and it does not get dark at night.

Holiday : If you are in for a lively night life then the pubs are open from 1100-0200 during the month of July as the festival is on for for the first 2 weeks in July.
everyone is friendly and helpful and are more than happy for visitors to join in.
but be advised the locals have been on this island for years and they dont take to visitors trying to change things that have been unchanged for hundreds of years

Places Recommended : Barra is the jewel of the Hebrides with white sandy beaches.
a place to relax with mother nature withlots to do during the summer.
fantastic for kids as they are safe and free to roam the island.
