Weather : The weather was beautiful, I have been in both April & September and have only experienced one thunderstorm which was actually most impressive to watch.

Holiday : We stayed in a cave house which if you like peace and quiet is great, they are cool in summer but cosy in winter. The scenery in this area is fantastic and the people really friendly.
Very few locals speak English but despite my lack of Spanish we all coped very well.

Places Recommended : Apart from the Alhambra Palace, I loved Castrille, with it's walk along the side of the gorge it was stunning.
I also found Mojaca very pleasant(no high rise hotels).
For a fun day out try the Wild West tourist centre. It has a swimming pool to die for and one of the cleanest zoos I have ever seen. Kids will love it!
