The summer season is in full
swing come July in Alvor. You get to enjoy an average temperature of 24°C, or 75°F. Make sure you pack lots
of light and airy clothes because there are days when the heat of the sun can
be very intense.
Temperatures can go as high as 29°C, or 84°F. Some days, the temperature will drop to 18°C, or 64°F, but it is still pretty mild and will probably not require you to don thick clothing.
For accommodation, try out the Pestana Alvor Praia hotel. Their prices can go as cheap as £56 depending on the season. You can easily walk to the beach from here and fantastic views can be enjoyed from the hotel.
July is also a perfect time to visit because of the events that usually take place here during this month. There is an Arts and Crafts fair conducted in Alcoutim. You can purchase cheap local goods and handicrafts here.
